To provide housing and support for elderly people primarily but not exclusively of African & Caribbean origin in Newham to enable them to live as independently as possible and to organise activities such as Keep Fit, Healthy eating, Computer use, Tai-chi, Soft furnishings, for both resident and non-resident service users to mitigate loneliness and isolation.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE PROJECT IS ESTABLISHED ARE FOR THE RELIEF OF FRAIL ELDERLY PEOPLE IN NEED BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF HOUSING AND OTHER ACCOMMODATION AND OTHER ASSISTANCE FOR SUCH PEOPLE AND IN SO DOING:- (1) TO PROVIDE HIGH STANDARD SELF-CONTAINED ACCOMMODATION FOR FRAIL ELDERLY PEOPLE PARTICULARLY THOSE OF CARIBBEAN AND AFRICAN ORIGIN WHO LIVE OR WORK IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF NEWHAM; (11) TO PROVIDE HOUSING AND SUPPORT COMMENSURATE WITH THE INDIVIDUAL NEEDS OF FRAIL ELDERLY PEOPLE PARTICULARLY THOSE OF CARIBBEAN AND AFRICAN ORIGIN TO ENABLE THEM TO LIVE AS INDEPENDENTLY AS POSSIBLE; AND (111) TO PROVIDE HOME-FROM-HOME FACILITIES IN A CULTURALLY SENSITIVE ENVIRONMENT AND ENABLE EACH TENANT TO LIVE IN HIS OR HER HOME FOR AS LONG AS THEY WANT, EVEN IF THEIR NEEDS CHANGE AND THEIR CARE REQUIREMENTS INCREASE.
