TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ARTS AND CULTURE OF CHILE BY PROMOTING, PUBLICISING AND PRACTICALLY SUPPORTING THE CHARITABLE WORK AND PROJECTS OF THE VICTOR JARA FOUNDATION, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY STIMULATING AND SUPPORTING THE WORK OF YOUNG ARTISTS, MUSICIANS, POETS, CHOREOGRAPHERS, DANCERS, PAINTERS AND EDUCATORS) WHICH BY REASON OF THEIR MEANS THEY WOULD NOT OTHERWISE BE ABLE TO AFFORD OR IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION THINK FIT.
