Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE AND PROVIDE FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND FOR SUCH PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY AS SHALL BE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE AND IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING:- (I) TO INCREASE THE KNOWLEDGE UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF ANY MATTERS OF HISTORIC ARTISTIC ARCHITECTURAL AESTHETIC OR SCIENTIFIC INTEREST; (II) TO PROMOTE THE STUDY AND APPRECIATION OF SUSTAINABLE PRACTISES IN AGRICULTURE HORTICULTURE SILVICULTURE AND LAND AND ESTATE MANAGEMENT, NATURE CONSERVATION, WILDLIFE AND THE NATURAL HERITAGE; (III) TO PRESERVE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT ANY BUILDING OR BUILDINGS OF NATIONAL HISTORIC ARCHITECTURAL OR ARTISTIC OR SCIENTIFIC INTEREST AND IMPORTANCE INCLUDING ANY ANCILLARY BUILDINGS AS SHALL OR MAY AT ANY TIME BE VESTED IN THE COMPANY OR IN RESPECT OF THE WHICH THE COMPANY MAY HAVE AN INTEREST; (IV) TO PRESERVE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT ALL FURNITURE PICTURES HISTORIC RECORDS BOOKS MANUSCRIPTS MUNIMENTS ARMOUR PORCELAIN SILVER AND GOLD OBJECTS D'ART AND OTHER CHATTELS OF HISTORIC OR SCIENTIFIC INTEREST ASSOCIATED WITH OR DISPLAYED IN ANY SUCH BUILDING OR BUILDINGS
