Charitable objects
The objects of the Trust are – (a) To advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Statement of Beliefs appearing in the Schedule hereto in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the Trustees may from time to time think fit (b) To relieve persons who are in conditions of need or hardship or who are aged or sick and to relieve the distress caused thereby in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the Trustees may from time to time think fit: (c) To promote and fulfil such other charitable purposes beneficial to the community in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the Trustees may from time to time think fit Throughout this trust deed ‘charitable’ means charitable in accordance with the law of England and Wales provided that it will not include any purpose which is not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005. For the avoidance of doubt, the system of law governing the constitution of the charity is the law of England and Wales.
