Charitable objects
(A) THE RELIEF OF PATIENTS SUFFERING FROM MANIC DEPRESSIVE DISORDERS, IN PARTICULAR THOSE FOR WHOM LITHIUM THERAPY HAS BEEN PRESCRIBED; (B) THE PROVISION AND ENCOURAGEMENT OF SELF HELP GROUPS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO SUCH PATIENTS AND THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILIES; (C) THE DISSEMINATION OF LITERATURE AND INFORMATION SPECIFICALLY TO PROMOTE AWARENESS OF ALL ASPECTS OF LITHIUM TREATMENT AMONG SUFFERERS; (D) THE PROVISION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES FOR SUCH PATIENTS; (E) THE RELIEF IN CASES OF FINANCIAL DISTRESS OF THE DEPENDANTS OF SUCH PATIENTS OR OF DECEASED PATIENTS; (F) THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES AND TREATMENT OF MANIC DEPRESSIVE DISORDERS ON TERMS THAT THE RESULTS OF SUCH ARE PUBLISHED.
