SUPPORTING THE SAMUEL BIRTHPLACE MUSEUM BY HELPING TO MAINTAIN AND ENHANCE ITS CONTENTS, AND BY WORKING WITH THE JOHNSON BIRTHPLACE ADVISORY COMMITTEE 3. ASSISTING IN PRESERVING OTHER PHYSICAL MEMORIALS OF JOHNSON AND HIS CONTEMPORARIES, INCLUDING BOOKS, MANUSCRIPTS, ARTEFACTS, BUILDINGS, STATUES AND JOHNSON'S WILLOW 4. PARTICIPATE IN THE ANNUAL COMMEMORATIONS OF JOHNSON'S BIRTHDAY PROMOTE KNOWLEDGE OF EIGHTEENTH-CENTURY HISTORY IN GENERAL.
