Charitable objects
For the public benefit to promote interest in the electric (and diesel-electric) railway system of the southern region of British railways, its predecessors, and its successors by: A) Providing opportunities within the UK for the public to experience a journey in the electric (and diesel-electric) railway system. B) The conservation, maintenance & repair of selected items of rolling stock and associated infrastructure of the southern dc system. C) The maintenance of a collection of historical records including artifacts and documents relating to the above and to disseminate the information by electronic or physical means as determined by the trustees.
