TO PROMOTE SUCH OBJECTS AS ARE NOW OR MAY HEREAFTER BE DEEMED BY LAW TO BE CHARITABLE AND IN PARTICULAR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, THE FURTHERANCE OF HEALTH AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, DISTRESS AND SICKNESS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOSE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO ARE FROM ETHNIC MINORITY COMMUNITIES (FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS MEMORANDUM AND THESE ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION "ETHNIC MINORITY" SHALL HAVE THE SAME MEANING AS THE DEFINITION CONTAINED IN THE RACE RELATIONS ACT 1976) BY MAKING GRANTS TO ORGANISATIONS AND/OR INDIVIDUALS AND IN SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE CHARITY MAY DECIDE.
