Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE TBC(L) IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE BUDDHIST RELIGION, IN PARTICULAR: (I) TO ENCOURAGE MEMBERS AND OTHERS TO LIVE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEACHINGS OF THE BUDDHA. (II) TO SUPPORT ORDAINED MEMBERS OF THE TRIRATNA BUDDHIST ORDER (HEREAFTER REFERRED TO AS TBO) AND OTHER DULY ORDAINED BUDDHISTS, AT THE DISCRETION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TBC(L).
