Some charities generate all, or a substantial part, of their income from investments which may have been donated to the charity as endowment or set aside by the charity from its own resources in the past. Charitable objects
1. TO PROVIDE THE NECESSARY FACILITIES FOR THE DAILY CARE, RECREATION AND EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN BELOW COMPULSORY SCHOOL AGE AND FOR CHILDREN OF SCHOOL AGE OUTSIDE NORMAL SCHOOL HOURS. 2. THE RELIEF OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS AND THEIR CARERS BY THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION AND PLAY FACILITIES, CARE AND SUPPORT AND INFORMATION. 3. TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PREVENTING CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED, RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF THOSE CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED, OR HAVE ADDITIONAL NEEDS, AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY. 4. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS RELATING TO CHILDCARE AND PARENTING AND TO PROMOTE LIFELONG LEARNING THROUGH THE CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR INDIVIDUAL CAPABILITIES, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING IN SUBJECTS OF EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL VALUE. 5. THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED BY HELPING DISADVANTAGED ADULTS AND YOUNG PEOPLE ADVANCE IN LIFE BY PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES, CAPABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS. 6.
