(1) FOR THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS PARTICULARLY AMONGST PORTUGUESE-SPEAKING REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS FROM GUINEA-BISSSAU AND ELSEWHERE WHO ARE RESIDENT OR WHO ARE INTENDING TO RESIDE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM BY PROVIDING SUCH PERSONS WITH ADVICE, REPRESENTATION, COUNSELLING, TRANSLATING AND INTERPRETING SERVICES AND OTHER ASSISTANCE IN THE MATTERS SUCH AS ASYLUM, IMMIGRATION, MONEY, DEBTS, WELFARE BENEFITS, HOUSING, HEALTH, EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT (2) FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND IN PARTICULAR FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOSE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO ARE PORTUGUESE-SPEAKING REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS FROM GUINEA-BISSAU AND ELSEWHERE BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF THEIR EDUCATION AND TRAINING AND FOR THE RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION OF PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR AGE, INFIRMITY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE (3) FOR THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS AND FOR SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE IN GUINEA BISSAU AND ELSEWHERE
