TO ADVANCE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE RECOGNISED IN ENGLISH LAW THAT THE COUNCIL OF MANAGEMENT OF THE COMPANY IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION THINK FIT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AT THE COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY GRADUATE SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM (IN THE USA) AND THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL NEED OF WOMEN STUDYING INVESTIGATIVE AND BUSINESS JOURNALISM BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE INCLUDING SCHOLARSHIPS.
