Benchill Community Centre a thriving and vibrant hub of activity whose aim is to provide a facility which is open, non-judgemental, friendly and welcoming for local residents. The Centre offers a fully accessible, community-led managed facility for local community groups/individuals to embark upon training, education and social welfare and to access OFSTED registered childcare facilities.

Charitable objects
1. TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF RESIDENTS OF THE BENCHILL WARD OF THE MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL AREA AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, BY BRINGING TOGETHER RESIDENTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS TO IMPROVE EDUCATION, RELIEVE POVERTY AND SICKNESS, TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR SOCIAL WELFARE, LEISURE TIME AND RECREATIONAL INTERESTS WITH THE AIM OF IMPROVING CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR RESIDENTS. 2. TO PROVIDE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY CENTRE (BENCHILL COMMUNITY CENTRE) AND TO MANAGE AND MAINTAIN THE CENTRE WHETHER ALONE OR IN CO-OPERATION WITH ANY LOCAL AUTHORITY OR BODY IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS.
