INTERACT STROKE SUPPORT

Charity overview
Activities - how the charity spends its money
InterAct Stroke Support takes professional actors into hospitals and stroke clubs to read and interact with stroke survivors. This interaction alleviates boredom, depression and stimulates the brain, thus helping rehabilitation & recovery. Post stroke depression is common and neural stimulation has been shown to help the brain "adaptively rewire" finding new routes from A to B.
