THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ARE TO: (1) PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL WELFARE OF PREGNANT WOMEN WHO HAVE SUFFERED A LEGAL RESTRICTION OF THEIR LIBERTY AND WHO ARE, OR HAVE BEEN, DETAINED IN PRISON, OR SOME OTHER FORM OF DETENTION OR CUSTODY (THE BENEFICIAL CLASS) BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT DURING PREGNANCY, LABOUR, CHILDBIRTH AND THE POSTNATAL PERIOD FOR WOMEN AND THEIR BABIES; (2) ADVANCE AND EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN PARTICULAR THE BENEFICIAL CLASS IN MATERNITY CHILDBIRTH AND PARENTING.
