Charitable objects
(1) TO PROVIDE RELIEF FOR PERSONS IN NECESSITOUS CIRCUMSTANCES BY THE PROVISION OF HOUSING AND ANY ASSOCIATED AND OTHER AMENITIES AND SERVICES UPON TERMS APPROPRIATE TO THEIR MEANS PROVIDED THAT SUCH POWER SHALL NOT EXTEND TO RELIEVING ANY LOCAL AUTHORITIES OR OTHER BODIES OF A STATUTORY DUTY TO PROVIDE OR IMPROVE HOUSING; (2) TO ASSIST PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE REGENERATION OF THE SOCIAL PHYSICAL AND ECONOMIC ENVIRONMENT FOR SUCH PERSONS; (3) TO CARRY OUT ANY SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE OBJECT AS IS PERMITTED TO A REGISTERED SOCIAL LANDLORD.
