FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR THOSE PERSONS FROM THE CONGO AND OTHER FRENCH-SPEAKING COMMUNITIES WHO ARE REFUGEES OR ASYLUM SEEKERS IN THE UK, BY: 1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION 2) THE RELIEF OF PERSONS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF POVERTY, SICKNESS BY PROVIDING SUCH PERSONS WITH ADVICE, REPRESENTATION, TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETING SERVICES, AND OTHER ASSISTANCE IN MATTERS SUCH AS IMMIGRATION, MONEY, DEBTS, WELFARE BENEFITS, HOUSING, HEALTH, EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT, IN ORDER THAT THEY MAY PARTICIPATE FULLY IN SOCIETY
