(1) TO RELIEVE CHILDREN FROM BELARUS WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM THE EFFECTS OF RADIATION SICKNESS AND IN PARTICULAR TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF SUCH CHILDREN BY ARRANGING FOR THEIR CARE AND WELFARE DURING HOLIDAYS TO THE UNITED KINGDOM (2) TO RELIEVE SICKNESS, POVERTY AND DISTRESS OF PERSONS LIVING IN BELARUS WHO ARE SUFFERING AS A RESULT OF THE CHERNOBYL DISASTER AND IN PARTICULAR BY THE SUPPLY AND TRANSPORT OF HUMANITARIAN AID FOR THOSE IN CHARITABLE NEED (3) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS OF THE CHERNOBYL DISASTER
