Activities - how the charity spends its money
Upbeat is an independent charity set up by ex-cardiac patients. We provide support for people who have had heart attacks, or other heart related problems, and their carers. A range of specialist exercise sessions are held weekly under the supervision of qualified cardiac instructors and a cardiac nurse. Social and educational events are also provided.
