FOR THE PURPOSES OF A VILLAGE HALL FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF CALTON IN THE COUNTY OF STAFFORDSHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING LOCALITY WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, INCLUDING USE FOR MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES, AND FOR OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS (2) TO RETAIN THE BUILDING AS A WAR MEMORIAL TO THOSE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY WHO DIED DURING THE TWO WORLD WARS, AND THOSE WHO SAFELY RETURNED
