Charitable objects
1. THE ASSOCIATION AIMS TO WORK IN COLLABORATION WITH THE CITY OF YORK COUNCIL AND OTHERS TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE AREA OF LAND KNOWN AS HOB MOOR IN THE COUNTY OF NORTH YORKSHIRE. 2. THE ASSOCIATION SEEKS TO PROMOTE HOB MOOR AS AN OPEN SPACE AMENITY FOR EDUCATION, RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF ENHANCING THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF THOSE LIVING OR WORKING NEAR TO HOB MOOR, AND FOR ALL THOSE RESORTING TO IT. 3. THE ASSOCIATION SEEKS TO PROMOTE RESEARCH INTO THE HISTORY AND ECOLOGY OF HOB MOOR THE RESULTS OF ALL SUCH RESERSACH TO BE DISSEMINATED AND MADE AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC.
