(I) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY PROMOTION OF RESEARCH BY HOSPITAL RESEARCH GROUPS AND UNIVERSITIES IN THE FIELD OF MEDICINE, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY RESEARCH INTO HEART DISEASE AND DISEASE OF THE CARDIO-VASCULAR AND VASCULAR SYSTEMS, AND RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF TECHNOLOGY AND ENERGY PRODUCTION AND MEANS OF TRANSPORT TO REDUCE ATMOSPHERIC POLLUTION, AND THE DISSEMINATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS. (II) SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT.
