(A) IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ENABLE THEM TO ATTEND THE SCHOOL OR TO PARTICIPATE IN EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES; OR
(B) SELECTED ON GROUNDS OF ACADEMIC MERIT
