The charitable aim of the group is to support those suffering from the illness variously known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) or Post-Viral Fatigue Syndrome (PVFS). Educate the general public through the promotion and dissemination of knowledge about ME/CFS/PVFS. Support local research into the cause and cure of ME/CFS/PVFS and publicise such research.

Charitable objects
I) RELIEVE THOSE SUFFERING FROM THE ILLNESS VARIOUSLY KNOWN AS MYALGIC ENCEPHALOMYELITIS (ME), CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME (CFS) OR POST-VIRAL FATIGUE SYNDROME (PVFS) II) EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC THROUGH THE PROMOTION AND DISSEMINATION OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT ME/CFS/PVFS III) ADVANCE RESEARCH IN THE CAUSE AND CURE OF ME/CFS/PVFS AND TO PUBLISH THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
