Charitable objects
A) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF MERSEYSIDE AND ITS ENVIRONS, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE WHO ARE IRISH OR OF IRISH DESCENT, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF AGE, SEX, RACE, POLITICAL OR RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, BY ASSOCIATING THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS, INSTITUTIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT, TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR HEALTH, RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS AND TO PROMOTE ALL OR ANY OBJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY WHICH NOW OR HEREAFTER MAY BE DEEMED BY LAW TO BE CHARITABLE B) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN IRISH CULTURE AND HERITAGE
