SWEASSG IS ESTABLISHED FOR GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DISTRICTS OF BASILDON, BRENTWOOD AND THURROCK (HEREINAFTER CALLED THE AREA OF BENEFIT) AND IN PARTICULAR SUCH INHABITANTS WHO ARE FROM AFRICA, ASIA, THE CARIBBEAN, INDIAN SUB-CONTINENT AND THOSE OF MIXED RACE BY:- A) PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT AND OTHER ASSISTANCE RELIEVING POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS B) THE ADVANCEMENT OF CULTURAL AND SUPPLEMENTARY EDUCATION C) THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF PUBLIC HEALTH D) PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND SO THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED
