Charitable objects

THE TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE TRUST FUND AND ITS INCOME UPON TRUST TO APPLY THEM FOR SUCH OBJECTS IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD AS ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AND IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING): 1. TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION TO BENEFIT SCHOOLS AND UNIVERSITIES OR ANY PUPILS OR STUDENTS IN ANY MANNER WHICH IS EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE. 2. TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF INDIVIDUALS BY (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) PROVIDING GRANTS TO COVER THE COST OF FEES OR THE PURCHASE OF BOOKS TO ENABLE THEM TO FOLLOW THEIR STUDIES AT ANY VOCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT INCLUDING TRAINING OF A PROFESSIONAL, TECHNICAL OR VOCATIONAL NATURE, AND THE PROVISION OF INDIVIDUAL BURSARIES, PRIZE FUNDS OR SCHOLARSHIPS 3. TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO SCHOOLS AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS 4. TO PROVIDE GIFTS FOR THE BENEFIT, ADVANCEMENT AND PROPAGATION OF EDUCATION AND LEARNING IN EVERY PART OF THE WORLD TO SUCH EDUCATIONAL CHARITIES OR FOR SUCH CHARITABLE EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION DETERMINE 5. TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO OTHER CHARITIES 6. OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY 7. THE TIME AND MANNER OF SUCH PAYMENT OR APPLICATION OR APPROPRIATION OF THE TRUST FUND AND THE INCOME THEREOF SHALL BE IN THE ABSOLUTE DISCRETION OF THE TRUSTEES PROVIDED ALWAYS THAT THE TRUSTEES MAY DURING THE PERIOD OF 21 YEARS FROM THE DATE OF THIS DEED ACCUMULATE ANY PART OF THE INCOME BY CAPITALISING IT AS AN ACCRETION TO AND PART OF THE TRUST FUND.
