FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF NOTTINGHAM AND THE SURROUNDING AREA: A) THE PROVISION OF ASSISTANCE TO THOSE WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP; B) THE PROVISION OF AND/PR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECTS OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THOSE PERSONS FOR WHOM THE FACILITIES ARE INTENDED; C) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, AMONG UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE; D) THE PROMOTION OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND PREVENTION OF CRIME.
