Charitable objects
1. THE COMMITTEE OF MANAGEMENT SHALL PERMIT THE VILLAGE HALL TO BE USED TOGETHER WITH THE CHANCEL FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE WORSHIP AND RELIGIOUS CEREMONIES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND UPON SUCH DAYS AND AT SUCH HOURS AS SHALL BE APPOINTED BY THE VICAR OF FOUR ELMS FOR THE TIME BEING AND SO LONG AS THE VICAR OF FOUR ELMS FOR THE TIME BEING SHALL OR APPOINT TO BE HELD AT LEAST ONE PUBLIC RELIGIOUS SERVICE OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IN EVERY WEEK IN THE VILLAGE HALL AND CHANCEL THE COMMITTEE OF MANAGEMENT SHALL NOT PERMIT ANY RELIGIOUS SERVICE OF ANY DENOMINATION OTHER THAN THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND TO BE HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL OR IN THE ADDITIONAL ROOMS. 2. SUBJECT TO THE USE OF THE VILLAGE HALL AS AFORESAID AND SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS HEREINBEFORE AND HEREINAFTER CONTAINED THE SAID COMMITTEE OF MANAGEMENT MAY IN THEIR DISCRETION PERMIT THE VILLAGE HALL AND THE ADDITIONAL ROOMS TO BE USED UPON ANY WEEK DAY FOR THE PURPOSE OF ANY PUBLIC OR PRIVATE MEETING OR LECTURES OR ENTERTAINMENTS PROVIDED THAT NO PERSON OR BODY OF PERSONS SHALL BE REFUSED THE USE OF THE VILLAGE HALL OR THE ADDITIONAL ROOMS FOR SUCH MEETINGS LECTURES OR ENTERTAINMENTS OR SHALL BE EXCLUDED FROM SUCH MEETINGS LECTURES OR ENTERTAINMENTS SOLELY ON THE GROUNDS OF HIS OR HER OR THEIR RELIGIOUS OR POLITICAL OPINIONS PROVIDED ALWAYS AND IT IS HEREBY DECLARED THAT THE SAID COMMITTEE OF MANAGEMENT MAY REFUSE THE USE OF THE VILLAGE HALL AND THE ADDITIONAL ROOMS FOR THE PROPAGATION OF OPINIONS WHICH APPEAR TO THE SAID COMMITTEE TO BE OFFENSIVE BLASPHEMOUS OR IMMORAL OR THE PURPOSE OF ENTERTAINMENTS WHICH APPEAR TO THE SAID COMMITTEE TO BE OF AN OFFENSIVE OR IMPROPER CHARACTER AND PROVIDED THAT THE SAID COMMITTEE MAY PERMIT THE USE OF THE VILLAGE HALL AND THE ADDITIONAL ROOMS FOR THE PURPOSE OF MEETINGS WHICH ARE INTENDED TO BE CONFINED TO THE MEMBERS OF A PARTICULAR DENOMINATION OR OF A PARTICULAR POLITICAL PARTY OR SOCIETY.
