TO EDUCATE AND ASSIST CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH THEIR LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL CAPACITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY AND THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED AND IN FURTHERANCE OF THAT OBJECT TO PROVIDE IN OR NEAR THE TOWN OF NEWHAVEN OR ELSEWHERE IN EAST SUSSEX ONE OR MORE CENTRES FOR MEETINGS, LECTURES, CLASSES AND OTHER FORMS OF LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS.
