THE FRIENDS IS ESTABLISHED TO MAINTAIN, REPAIR, RESTORE, PRESERVE, IMPROVE, BEAUTIFY AND RECONSTRUCT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE FABRIC OF THE CHURCH OF ST MARY AND ST MICHAEL, ITS MONUMENTS, FIXTURES, FITTINGS, FURNITURE, STAINED GLASS, ORNAMENTS AND OTHER CHATTELS, ITS CHURCHYARD AND ITS CHURCH HALL, AND TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE CHURCH AS A PLACE OF CHRISTIAN WORSHIP.
