TO PROMOTE KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION OF MUSIC PARTICULARLY THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A COMMUNITY STRING ORCHESTRA ("THE ORCHESTRA") WHICH WILL PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR STRUCTURED GROUP LEARNING OF INSTRUMENTAL PERFORMANCE BY LATE STARTERS AND ENCOURAGE PARTICIPATION BY THEM IN ALL ASPECTS OF MUSIC.
