Charitable objects
1.TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THAT GENERAL POWER) BY PROVIDING GRANTS, LOANS, SCHOLARSHIPS OR SUCH OTHER FORM OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AS THE DIRECTORS SHALL THINK FIT TO ENABLE PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE UNITED KINGDOM TO PURSUE STUDIES WHICH THE DIRECTORS CONSIDER TO BE OF EDUCATIONAL VALUE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA OR ELSEWHERE; 2. TO UNDERTAKE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES AS THE BOARD MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.
