Provision of once weekly social activities that benefit members, provide respite for carers and promote volunteering for people with learning disabilities. Fine weather outings and sensory walks in local nature reserves and Epping Forest. Art, photography and filming sessions recording group activities to promote and display the Groups work to the public.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE SUPPORT GROUP ARE TO: (A) PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF CHIGWELL AND NEIGHBOURHOOD TOGETHER WITH THE INHABITANTS OF THE DISTRICT COUNCIL OF EPPING FOREST AND ADJOINING LONDON BOROUGHS OF ENFIELD, WALTHAM FOREST, HAVERING, REDBRIDGE AND NEWHAM WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR PEOPLE WITH PHYSICAL AND SENSORY DISABILITIES; (B) ESTABLISH, OR SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF, A DAY CENTRE AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE THE SAME (WHETHER ALONE OR IN CO-OPERATION WITH ANY LOCAL AUTHORITY OR OTHER PERSON OR BODY) IN FURTHERANCE EOF THESE OBJECTS. (C) PROMOTE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS AMY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DETERMINED.
