TO PROVIDE RELIEF FOR PERSONS WITHIN LEADGATE, COUNTY DURHAM AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS WHO HAVE, OR ARE RECOVERING FROM A PHYSICAL DISABILITY, MENTAL ILLNESS, EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS, ANXIETY, DEPRESSION OR RELATED SYMPTOMS BY THE PROVISION OF A BEFRIENDING SERVICE AND FACILITIES FOR RECREATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE
