TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME ACTIVITIES FOR THE HINDU COMMUNITY IN THE NORTH EAST OF ENGLAND IN THE INTERESTS OF THEIR SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
