Charitable objects

TO PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF PERSONS WHO ARE YOUNG OR DISABLED BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR TRAINING IN SAILING AND SEAMANSHIP AND OTHER WATER AND LAND BASED ACTIVITIES; 2. TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF WEYMOUTH AND PORTLAND AND THE REST OF THE UNITED KINGDOM WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS; AND 3. (WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF CLAUSE 1. ABOVE) TO PROMOTE ANY OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE COUNTY OF DORSET AS THAT COUNTY IS CONSTITUTED FOR ADMINISTRATIVE PURPOSES AT THE DATE OF THIS DEED AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME IN THEIR DISCRETION DETERMINE.
