THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE: "THE OBJECTS OF THE PAKISTAN WELFARE ASSOCIATION ARE TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY PEOPLE OF PAKISTANI ORIGIN, OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON "THE AREA OF BENEFIT" WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR SEXUAL ORIENTATION, OR RACE, OR OF POLITICAL OR RELIGIOUS OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, AND VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT IN A COMMON EFFORT TO: 1. TO RELIEVE POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS. 2. TO ADVANCE EDUCATION. 3. TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE PUBLIC HEALTH; AND 4. TO ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO ARE IN NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE".
