Charitable objects
THE ASSOCIATION'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE: "FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE KENEMA DISTRICT OF SIERRA LEONE AND IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND THE SURROUNDING AREA ("THE AREA OF BENEFIT") IN PARTICULAR SUCH MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO ARE FROM SIERRA LEONE OR WHO ARE OF SIERRA LEONEAN DESCENT BY: 1. ADVANCING EDUCATION; 2. RELIEVING THOSE WHO ARE IN CONDITION OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS OR WHO ARE OTHERWISE IN CHARITABLE NEED; 3. PROMOTING THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF PUBLIC HEALTH, 4. FURTHERING SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN THE AREAS OF BENEFIT AS THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MAY THINK FIT"
