TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF SHELTON WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, RACE OR POLITICAL RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS; B) TO PROMOTE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DETERMINED; AND THAT IN THE ATTAINMENT OF THE SAID OBJECTS THE COMPANY SHALL BE NON-PARTY IN POLITICS AND NON-SECTARIAN IN RELIGION.
