Charitable objects
FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF LEARNING AND EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN OR AROUND THE LONDON REGION AND HERTFORDSHIRE AND ELSEWHERE BY IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS:- 1) PROMOTING AND INCREASING PARTICIPATION IN EDUCATION AND TRAINING, PARTICULARLY BY THOSE WHO HAVE BENEFITED LEAST FROM EXISTING PROVISION; 1) PROMOTING AND INCREASING PARTICIPATION IN EDUCATION AND TRAINING, PARTICULARLY BY THOSE WHO HAVE BENEFITED LEAST FROM EXISTING PROVISION 2) IMPROVING THE QUALITY AND FLEXIBILITY OF EDUCATION PROVISION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, PARTICULARLY FOR EDUCATIONALLY DISADVANTAGED ADULTS, THROUGH THE NATIONAL OPEN COLLEGE NETWORK (NOCN) ACCREDITED SYSTEM; 3) IMPROVING THE EDUCATIONAL WELFARE OF LEARNERS THROUGH THE AWARD OF CREDITS AND CREDIT-BASED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE GENERAL BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, THEREBY IMPROVING ACCESS TO LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES AND FACILITATING PROGRESSION THROUGH THE ACCUMULATION OF CREDITS TO FURTHER LEARNING, EMPLOYMENT AND HIGHER EDUCATION: 4) SUPPORTING THE ARRANGEMENTS OF THE NATIONAL OPEN COLLEGE NETWORK AND THE QUALITY ASSURANCE AGENCY FOR HIGHER EDUCATION TO MONITOR THE TERMS OF THEIR LICENCES 5) IMPROVING ACCESS TO HIGHER EDUCATION BY ESTABLISHING, CARRYING ON AND CONDUCTING THE WORK OIF THE NATIONAL OPEN COLLEGE NETWORK ACCREDITATION SYSTEM AND OPERATING AS AN AUTHORISED VALIDATING AGENCY UNDER LICENCE FROM THE QUALITY ASSURANCE AGENCY FOR HIGHER EDUCATION; 6) ENCOURAGING AND ASSISTING ORGANISATIONS WITHIN ITS OPERATIONAL AREA TO PROVIDE A WIDER RANGE OF ACCREDITED LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
