THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ("THE OBJECTS") ARE TO ASSIST IN THE TREATMENT AND CARE OF PEOPLE LIVING (PERMANENTLY OR TEMPORARILY) IN EAST SUSSEX, WEST SUSSEX AND BRIGHTON & HOVE SUFFERING FROM OLD AGE, SICKNESS, POOR HEALTH AND TERMINAL ILLNESS BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO HOSPICES AND SIMILAR INSTITUTIONS THAT PROVIDE SERVICES TO THOSE PEOPLE, THEIR FAMILIES AND THEIR CARERS, WHETHER THE HOSPICES OR SIMILAR INSTITUTIONS ARE LOCATED IN THESE AREAS OR NOT AND TO GENERALLY SUPPORT HOSPICES AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC BY RAISING AWARENESS OF THE WORK UNDERTAKEN BY HOSPICES.
