Charitable objects
FOR THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS OF PERSONS WITH MENINGITIS AND FOR THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF PUBLIC HEALTH IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT TO DIAGNOSE MENINGITIS AND SEPTICAEMIA AT NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE HOSPITALS, PROVIDED THAT IN SO DOING THE TRUSTEES SHALL NOT RELIEVE ANY LOCAL HEALTH AUTHORITY OR HEALTH SERVICE TRUST OF ITS STATUTORY OBLIGATIONS.
