Charitable objects

THE TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE TRUST FUND AND ITS INCOME UPON TRUST TO APPLY THEM FOR SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING BY SUPPORTING THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE HAEMOPHILIA AND THROMBOPHILIA CENTRE IN TEHRAN ("THE CENTRE") INCLUDING: 1. THE RELIEF OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM HEREDITARY OR ACQUIRED BLOOD COAGULATION DISORDERS. 2. THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF LABORATORY EQUIPMENT FOR THE CENTRE TO ASSIST IN THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF CONGENITAL OR ACQUIRED BLOOD COAGULATION DISORDERS. 3. THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH WHETHER AT THE CENTRE OR AT UNIVERSITIES, THE NATIONAL BLOOD TRANSFUSION SERVICE AND THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH IN TEHRAN INTO THE CAUSES AND TREATMENT OF CONGENITAL OR ACQUIRED BLOOD COAGULATION DISORDERS ON TERMS THAT THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH ARE PUBLISHED IN RECOGNISED MEDICAL JOURNALS. 4. THE PROVISION OF GRANTS BURSARIES AND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING AT THE CENTRE TO INCREASE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF ALL COAGULATION DISORDERS AND TO ENABLE THE CENTRE TO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE CARE FOR PERSONS WITH COAGULATION DISORDERS.
