The objectives of the Great Dane Adoption Society are to relieve the suffering and distress of dogs, in particular the breed known as Great Danes, who are in need of attention by reason of homelessness, by the provision of temporary shelter, veterinary treatment and by finding permanent homes for such dogs.

Charitable objects
THE TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE TRUST FUND AND ITS INCOME UPON TRUST TO APPLY THEM FOR THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") "THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF DOGS, IN PARTICULAR THE BREED KNOWN AS GREAT DANES, WHO ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY THE PROVISION OF TEMPORARY SHELTER AND VETERINARY TREATMENT, FINDING SUITABLE PERMANENT HOMES FOR THEM, OR IN ANY OTHER WAY THAT THE TRUSTEES MAY DECIDE".
