THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECT") ARE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF CAMDEN AND IN PARTICULAR FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOSE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO ARE EAST AFRICAN OR OF EAST AFRICAN ORIGIN. 1. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, PARTICULARLY BY THE PROVISION OF LANGUAGE, LITERACY AND MATHEMATICS CLASSES. 2. THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS, PARTICULARLY BY THE PROVISION OF GUIDANCE, INTERPRETING SERVICES AND INFORMATION IN MATTERS SUCH AS HOUSING, HEALTH, EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT.
