DECLARATION OF TRUST DATED 10 AUGUST 2001 AS AMENDED BY SUPPLEMENTAL DEED DATED 10 JUNE 2002.
Charitable objects
(1) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF NOTTINGHAM WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF GENDER, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTS OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS; (2) TO ESTABLISH OR SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY CENTRE AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE OR TO CO-OPERATE WITH ANY LOCAL STATUTORY AUTHORITY IN THE MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF SUCH A CENTRE FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE TRUST AND ITS CONSTITUENT BODIES OF THE ABOVE OBJECTIVES; (3) TO PROMOTE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DETERMINED; AND THE ATTAINMENT OF THE SAID OBJECTS THE TRUST SHALL BE NON-PARTY IN POLITICS AND NON-SECTARIAN IN RELIGION.
