Charitable objects
1 (A) FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A MUSEUM IN SWANSEA TO BE CALLED NATIONAL WATERFRONT MUSEUM SWANSEA LIMITED AND IN WELSH AMGUEDDFA GENEDLAETHOL Y GLANNAU, ABERTAWE CYFYNGEDIG ("THE MUSEUM") (OR SUCH OTHER NAME AS SUCH MUSEUM MAY BE KNOWN FROM TIME TO TIME) TO HOUSE AND DISPLAY (INTER ALIA) THE INDUSTRIAL AND MARITIME COLLECTIONS OF THE NATIONAL MUSEUMS & GALLERIES OF WALES (B) TO ENHANCE, PRESERVE AND MAINTAIN FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC SUCH BUILDINGS AND OTHER LAND WITHIN THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY OF THE MUSEUM AS SHALL BE OF ARCHITECTURAL, HISTORICAL, EDUCATIONAL, SCIENTIFIC OR CULTURAL IMPORTANCE ("THE HERITAGE LAND") (C) TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC OPEN SPACES IN THE VICINITY OF THE MUSEUM, (D) TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN SUCH FURTHER FACILITIES AND BUILDINGS AS MAY BE USED (I) IN CONNECTION WITH FURTHERING OBJECT (A) AND OBJECT (B) (II) IN CONNECTION WITH THE OPERATION OF THE MUSEUM AND THE HERITAGE LAND (III) IN THE INTERESTS OF RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS BEING IN NEED OF SUCH OPEN SPACES, FACILITIES AND BUILDINGS BY REASON OF THEIR AGE, YOUTH DISABLEMENT, POVERTY AND SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCE 2 THE PROMOTION OF SUCH CHARITIES OR CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE CHARITY MAY BY UNANIMOUS RESOLUTION OF ITS MEMBERS FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.
