Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE ASSOCIATION ARE FOR THE BENEFIT OF ASYLUM SEEKERS AND REFUGEES AND IN PARTICULAR THOSE WHO ARE FROM SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL FRANCOPHONE AND LUSOPHONE SPEAKING AFRICA: A) TO RELIEVE POVERTY, HARDSHIP, DISTRESS, IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION AND ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION, INTERPRETING/TRANSLATING, ADVOCACY AND COUNSELLING SERVICES RELATING TO HEALTH, SOCIAL AND ECONOMICS ISSUES. B) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION THROUGH THE PROVISION AND ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF LITERATURE, EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING; C) TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION, IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF BIBLE CLASSES AND PRAYER SESSIONS AND COUNSELLING; D) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION SPORT AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES AS AFORESAID BY REASONS OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES.
