The fund pays for shelter, food and medical treatment for abused, sick, injured and abandoned animals in need, including illegally-traded wild animals rescued and rehabilitated for release back to the wild; it finances projects for canine birth control, vaccination and de-worming; and it promotes education in good animal management practices and the compassionate treatment of animals.
